Utah, Zion National Park is one of Americas best national parks.  Beautiful wilderness areas, narrow sand stone canyons and rugged peaks.  Bring the bikes and ride the bike paths and the Zion Canyon Senic Drive.  Put the bikes on the free shuttle and ride to the end of the canyon at Temple of Sinawava.  From there it's a downhill ride to the campgrounds with amazing views the entire way.

Hiking The Narrows is a great way to spend the day.  Be ready to walk through a stream that may be up to your waist in places.  Bring the right shoes, plenty of water, a walking stick, and food.  You will see wonderful views.  See the "photo" tab above for pictures of The Narrows.

NPS campground information can be found here:     http://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/campgrounds-in-zion.htm

If you plan to take your RV out through the tunnels on the east side of the park, then read the following:

Zion National Park has two large campgrounds located just inside of the south entrance to the park.  There is easy access to the town of Springdale via the park shuttle that runs through the entire town and park.  It's a free shuttle buss and a wonderful service to the people visiting the park.  The shuttles run often and are capable of carrying two bikes up into the park.  Overflow vehicle parking is available for both campgrounds.  Campgrounds have restrooms but, no showers.  Trash cans are available.  Pets are allowed in both campgrounds.  Firewood and other items can be found at the market near the park entrance.   From march through November a campground stay limit of 14 days is in affect.  For campground details, click the campground link below.
