Maine, Wild Acadia Camping Resort is located on the Bar Harbor Road approximately 10 miles North of Acadia National Park with easy access to the park.

Directions:

From Ellsworth on Highway-3, travel Southbound for approximately two miles toward Acadia National Park.  You will see the park sign on the right side of the highway.

Wild Acadia Camping Resort is a seasional campground being open from May through October 15.  Campbase estimates that big RV's up to 80 feet can be accommodated in pull through camp sites.  The resort has cabins, tent, and RV camp sites.  The resort is a great spot if you will be visiting Acadia National Park(ANP) and the Bar Harbor area.  There are closer campgrounds to ANP howerver, this resort is in a good location whith shops, services and restaurants nearby.  Camp roads and parking pads are crushed rock.  Most spots are shaded.  The resort is basically a small smmusement park.  There is a zip line, mini golf, and a water slide.  This would be a great spot for kids.  Restrooms and showers were clean.  The cell service was good at the campground.
