New York, Whippoorwill Motel and Campground

Directions:

The campground is located 1.5 miles from Lake George.  From downtown Lake George take State Route 9 Southbound for approximately 1.5 miles.  The parks entrance will be on the left side.

Whippoorwill Motel and Campground has a very nice campground that has RV and tent camp spots.  Cabins and a motel are also available.  The park has a small camp store with ice and firewood available.  There is a pool available.  The park has direct access to the Warren County Bikeway.  The bikeway has 9 miles of paved trails.  Its a great trail for the family.  Campground roads are all crushed rock.  Picnic tables and fire rings are located at each camp spot.  Most spots have shade trees.  Nearby is Lake George where you will find fishing, boating, and recreation.  There is also a trolley service to the campground.  Leave the RV and take the trolley downtown.  You will have a great time.
