Watchman Campground, Zion National Park, is open all year with 179 RV and Tent camp spots.  Seven large group sites are also available.  For visitors to Zion National Park, Watchman Campground is an ideal place to stay. Located near the parks south entrance, the campground is just a short walk from the main visitor center and the Zion Canyon Shuttle System Terminal.  The parks free shuttle not only takes visitors to all points in the National. Park, it runs through the town of Springfield with numerous stops.  It's a great way to get around and a fantastic service.  The shuttle can also carry your bikes.  Views from the campground are spectacular.  The campground is along the Virgin River and some spots are near the water.  Bring your float toys for those hot summer days, the river usually has water.  There is also a paved bike trail that starts near the campground.  The trail goes up into the park where you will find the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive.  The drive is closed to all vehicles except park buses.  It's a great place to ride the bike with simply amazing views along the road.  Showers and laundry are not available at the campground but, are available in the nearby town of Springdale for a fee.  National Park views from the campground are fantastic, see the PHOTOS tab.

Laundry is available at Zion Park Laundry, (435) 772-3251
