Wallace RV Park is located in the downtown Wallace area.  Campbase enjoyed its stay at this location.  The campground is within an easy walk from the downtown area.  Downtown has several great restaurants.  The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes passes near the south side of the RV park.  The trail is great for bicyclers and off-roaders.  Its quick and easy access.  Campbase estimates that big RV's to 40 feet can be accommodated.  There are no shaded spots in the park.  The City Limits Brew Pub sits on the south side of the RV park.  A few cabins are also available.  Restrooms and showers were clean.  Campground roads are paved with crushed rock parking pads.  The park is located along Nine Mile Creek with some sites having direct access.  Cell service was poor to none.  The park is located in a small canyon.

Local Recreation:

Walking and dining in the downtown area was quite fun.  Food was wonderful

The Route of the Hiawatha was a great spot for riding bikes.  Bikes can be rented at the top of the trail  Its approximately 15 miles long and all down hill.  There were several tunnels and bridges making it quite interesting.  At the bottom simply ride the buss back up hill to the beginning. The web site is www.ridethehiawatha.com.  The rtrail is seasional and closes in September.

The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes passes the campground.  It looks like a ton of fun although Campbase was not able to ride this trail.  Its said to be over 100 miles long.
