Description

Oregon, Waldport Newport KOA.  The park has easy access from Highway-101.

Directions:

From Waldport on Highway-101 travel Northbound.  Cross over the Alsea River bridge.  After crossing over the river, take the first left turn onto Minor Park Road(on the right side Minor Park Road changes name to N Bayview Road).  Follow Minor Park Road around for just over a block and the KOA entrance will be on the right side.

Waldport Newport KOA is open all year with cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots.  RV's up to 42 feet can be accommodated.  The park is located on the Alsea River and near beaches.  Camp spots are well sized with full hookups available.  Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.  Park roads are all paved.  Parking pads are crushed rock.  The park is in a good location with access to beaches and rivers.  The small town of Waldport is just across the Alesa Bay River where you will find restaurants, fuel, and markets.  Road touring on Highway-101 is a popular activity from this location.
