Description

California, Upper Little Truckee Campground, in the Tahoe National forest, is located on the banks of the Little Truckee River at 6,200 feet.  

Directions:

The campground is located approximately 13 miles North of Truckee on Highway 89.  Northbound on highway 89, the entrance will be on the left side of the highway.

Upper Little Truckee Campground is seasonal being open from May through October.  Tent, group, and small RV camp spots are available.  The group spot is available.  Bears frequent the campground, secure all food properly.  The closest services are in Truckee.  Pull round spots are available.  Some camp spots are up to 60 feet long however, most are around 30 feet.  There are no services in the area near the campground, bring everything you will need.  Pets are allowed.  There is plague in the area, use caution with your pets.
