Description

California, Trimmer Campground is a small facility on the shore of Pine Flat Lake in central California.

Direction:

From Fresno, California, travel east on Highway 180/Kings Canyon Highway to the Clovis Avenue exit. Turn right onto North Clovis Avenue, and then immediately turn left on East Belmont Avenue. After about 13 miles the road veers left and becomes East Trimmer Springs Road. Continue traveling for approximately 20 miles; the entrance to Trimmer Recreation Area is on the right.

Trimmer Campground is located in the Trimmer Recreation Area on Pine Flat Lake.  Pine Flat Lake is 20 miles long with 67 miles of shoreline.  Although camp spots can accommodate larger RV's, Campbase recommends no larger than 25 feet due to access roads into the park.  The Pine Flat Lake Marina is located approximately six miles east of the park.  The campground is open all year.  There is a restroom and water available in the park.  A boat launch ramp is also located at the campground.  Its usually a quiet spot for camping and fishing on the lake.  Some spots have shade from large oak trees.  The campground is open all year.  RV hookups are not available at the campground.  Dry camping only.
