The Lazy D Motorhome Park is open all year with approximately 80 RV only camp spots, no tenting. Campbase estimates big rigs up to 60 feet can be accommodated. This is an RV park located inside a Mobilehome park. All spots have full hookups. Camp roads are all paved with crushed rock parking pads. There is no shade and no fire rings. The park does have mail boxes for those extended stay RVers. A park web site is not available so, this information from our visit may be the best and most accurate information you will find. The park is located near downtown parker and there is no Colorado River access. All that being said, it may be one of the best deals in the area for full hookups, just $15 per night. It's the best deal we found. Also a great spot for touring the area or extended stay. The office takes lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 when they may not be in the office, so don't arrive during lunch. If you are going to stay at this location, Campbase recommends using the Blue Water Resort and Marina for boat launching and river access. The marina is located three miles from the park.
Local Recreation:
The area along the Colorado river is known as the Parker Strip. Boating and fishing are popular on the Colorado River. It's a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the Colorado River. The closest and best marina is located at the Blue Water Casino and Resort. Also, visit the casino.
Parker Dam is just off Highway-95 10 miles north of the campground. RV's are not allowed on the Dam, just cars allowed. Please see our photos tab for a picture.
London Bridge is located 30 miles to the north of the campground in Lake Havasu City. It's a great spot to visit and spend the day. There are restaurants and bars located near the bridge. Please see the picture of the bridge in our photos tab.
The Emersld Canyon Golf Course is located four miles to the north of the park on Highway-95.
