Sunset campground is across the highway 190 from Furnace Creek Ranch. Tent and RV camping is available. Although the campground is best suited to RV's. Tent campers will find better accommodations at Texas Springs Campground. RV's of just about any size can be accommodated at Sunset Campground. There is no shade available in this campground. Showers are not available in the campground however, there are shower facilities at Furnace Creek Ranch for the fee of $5. There are restrooms in this park however, there are no fire rings or picnic tables. It's essentially a large open parking lot. Campground roads are paved and parking pads are crushed rock. All spots are level. This campground is in a good central location for visiting the entire park.
