Description

Nevada, Sportsman's Beach Campground, Walker Lake Recreation Area. This is a BLM campground.

Directions:

From Fallon take Highway-95 Southbound for approximately 75 miles.  The parks entrance will be on the left side along the lake.

Sportsman's Beach Campground at the Walker Lake Recreation Area has 34 RV and tent camp spots.  This is a BLM camground.  Drinking water is not available.  Vault toilets are available.  Depending on lake levels, fishing may be closed.  Developed camp spots have camp awnings and picnic tables.  The paved boat ramp no longer reaches the water due to low water levels.  Cellular service was acailable for some carriers. Dispursed camping around the lake is also available at Tamarack Beach and Twenty Mile Beach.  These two dispursed areas do not have awnings, picnic tables or fire rings.  Vault toilets are available.
