Description

Utah, Slickrock RV Campground is located about one mile south of the Colorado River on highway 191 and about one mile north of downtown Moab.  It's an easy bike ride to the downtown Moab area.  It's also about three miles from the entrance to Arches National Park.

Directions:

From interstate 70(north of Moab) take highway 191 and proceed south.  After approximately 20 miles you will pass The entrance to Arches National Park, then cross over the Colorado River.  SlickRock RV Campground will be about a mile down on the right.  It's before downtown Moab.  Look for the bright yellow sign.

Comment

The campground is a great base camp for visits into Arches National Park.  Downtown Moab is close but, not within easy walking distance.  Most campsites have shade, a picnic table, and a fire ring.  Roads and campsites are all crushed rock.

The location also has extended stay available.

The city of Moab has numerous tour groups and equipment rental companies.  There are Jeep tours, Hummer tours, bicycle tours, and Colorado River tours.  Check the ads on the right side of this page.
