Silver Creek Campground, Tahoe National Forest, is a seasonal campground being open from May through October.  19 RV and tent camp spots are available.  The campground is located on the Truckee River adjacent to highway 89.  There is limited road noise at the campground.  Each site is equipped with a bear box, picnic table, campfire ring and BBQ grill.  Drinking water and vault toilets are available.  The campground is not recommended for large RV's.  

Bear alert, bears frequent this campground.  Store all food in the bear box provided.

A paved trail starts just a few miles south of the campground near the entrance to Squaw Valley.
