Routes to Shade Valley:
From the EAST on Interstate 90:
Turn RIGHT on New Underwood Rd. (approx. 20 miles east of Rapid City). Travel north on New Underwood Rd. for approximately 32 miles (road is now 100% paved!). Turn left on Highway 34 and travel west for approximately 25 miles. Shade Valley will be on the RIGHT hand side of the road.
From the WEST:
Drive through Sturgis, take Lazelle St. out of town (east) and this road will turn into Highway 34, travel approximately 8 minutes to Shade Valley. Follow the signs and look for the bright lights on the LEFT.
From the SOUTH:
Drive through Sturgis, take Lazelle St. out of town (east) and this road will turn into Highway 34, travel approximately 8 minutes to Shade Valley. Follow the signs and look for the bright lights on the LEFT.
From the NORTH:
Traveling on Highway 79, turn LEFT at the intersection of Highway 34 & 79. Shade Valley is approximately 8 minutes from the intersection. Follow the signs and look for the bright lights on the LEFT.

Shade Valley Camp Resort is a seasonal campground.
Located 10 miles outside of Downtown Sturgis.
All of our RV sites are on grass, dirt pads. The ground is fairly level.
