Santee Lakes Recreational Preserve and Campground is open all year with cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots.  The park has 

seven lakes that are stocked with Catfish and Rainbow Trout on a seasonal basis.  Bass and Bluegill are also prevalent.  Lakes 1 through 5 are for day use fishing, while Lakes 6 through 7 are for registered campers.  Full and partial hookup camp spots are available.  Most spots are level and some have lake front access.  It’s a great spot for a family weekend.  There are two swimming pools and rental boats to entertain the kids.  Camp spots do not have fire rings however, there is a group fire ring available.
