Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort is open all year with 75 RV and tent camp spots.  RV's up to approximately 50 feet can be accommodated.  Pull thru camp spots are also available.  The resort is located in a natural redwood forest near the Henry Cowell Redwood State Park and also on the San Lorenvo river.  It's a great spot for camping among the giant trees.  The San Lorenzo river passes the campground and the campground does have river access.  Fire rings are $5 per night.  Contact the office to have one delivered to your camp spot.  Firewood and ice are also available at the office.

Reservations are available by calling tel:(831)335-8312

Local Recreation:

The Roaring Camp Narrow Gauge Railroad is located just a few miles from the campground.  Train tours and much more are available.  There is a small western town with shops and restaurants.  There is also a meeting hall/play house there.

The campground is in a great spot for launching hiking and biking activities into the adjacent Henry Cowell Redwood State Park.

The San Lorenzo River passes the campground and is a great spot for cooling off or fishing.

The Seacliff State Beach is approximately 15 miles from the resort. At Seacliff State Beach there is a pier with a sunken ship.  The SS Pablo Alto was purposefully sunk at this location in the 1930's and used for a short time as a tourist attraction.  In the 1930's tourists could board the ship however, that is no longer possible because it is unsafe.  Visitors now need to view the ship from the beach or pier.  See the Campbase Photos tab for pictures.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Pier are just 10 miles south on Highway 9.  There are all kinds of things to eat, see, and do on the Boardwalk.  There are numerous carnival rides including a roller coaster.  The pier is also right there.  Please see the Campbase Photos tab for pictures of the Boardwalk.
