California, Sans End RV Park has easy big rig access from Interstate-8. 

Directions:

Exit Interstate-8 at Winterhaven RD.  Go North on Winterhaven and the campground will be on the right side of the highway in approximately one mile.  The Campbase map provided here is accurate for the location of the park.

Sans End RV Park is open all year with RV and tent camp spots.  The park is located in the small town of Winterhaven near Yuma, Arizona.  The area is known for its snowbirds due to good winter weather.  High summer tempratures tend to drive RVers out of the area.  The RV park does have some good shaded spots however, approximately half of the park does not have shade.  The camp roads are primarily dirt.  Pets are allowed but, there are no fire rings.  Full hookup and pull through camp spots are available.    Most sizes of big rigs can be accommodated.  The park also has a very nice pool. 

Local Recreation:

The Colorado River runs near the park however, the area is more suited to kayaking than large power boats.  Fishing is popular from the banks near the resort.

Just a few miles to the west of the resort is the Imperial Sand Dunes.  This is a large off-roading area that has camping but, no full hookups.  Rivers Edge is one of the closest resort/campgrounds that has full hookups and services for RVers.  Buttercup is the closest entry point to the dunes.  See our information page here.

Quechan Casino Resort is just one exit to the West of the RV park.  The casino has gaming and restaurants.
