Description
California, San Elijo State Beach. The campground is located on the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway.
Directions:
North or south bound on Interstate-5 in Encinitas, exit I-5 on Encinitas Blvd and proceed west toward the ocean. In approximately half a mile, turn left onto Highway 101(also called PCH or Pacific Coast Highway). Proceed south on Highway 101 for approximately 2 miles. The campground entrance will be on the right.

San Elijo State Beach is located on the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) close to restaurants, gas, and Starbucks coffee. This is the perfect place to camp. It's close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Legoland is a short distance north on the I5 freeway. Delmar race track is an equally short distance to the south of the park. The beach is beautiful with a long gradual slope into the water. Inside the campground is a general store and a taco shop called Bull Taco. Camp roads are all paved. Camping spots are crushed rock pads with a fire ring and picnic table.
This is the perfect place to spend a week or a weekend. The campground has convenient access to the beach and there's lots to do in the immediate area. There are 156 campsites available. Campsites can be reserved at reserveamerica.com.
Del Mar Race Track is less than two miles away.
The maximum RV length is 35 feet.
Beach fires are not allowed.
The Wi-Fi is only available within 150 feet of the camp store.
