California, San Diego RV Resort is located just off the I-8 freeway in the city of La Mesa.

Directions:

From the I-8 Westbound – Exit 70th Street & Lake Murray Blvd.

Turn Left to Lake Murray then turn left and cross the freeway. Turn left on Alvarado and they are located one mile down on the right.

From the I-8 Eastbound – Exit 70th Street & Lake Murray Blvd.

At the top of the off-ramp turn left on to Alvarado Road. They are located one mile down on the right.

The San Diego RV Resort is nicely landscaped with 172 full hook up sites and convenient access to freeways.  Most spots have a shade tree.  The resort is centrally located in La Mesa only 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, beaches, and attractions such as Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, and Sea World.  Discover some of San Diego’s history by visiting Old Town San Diego with its famous Bazaar Del Mundo, Cabrillo National Monument or visit one of the region’s many missions.  

 

Other San Diego attractions are:  Viejas Outlet Center, USS Carrier midway, Mission Bay, Indian gaming casinos, and Coronado Island.  Please see the PHOTOS tab for a picture of the trolley service.

There is a trolley stop beside the campground that services Downtown San Diego and the areas attractions.  An all day pass only costs $5 so, it's a great way to get around and see the sights in San Diego without the hassles of parking or driving.
