Sam's Beachcomber RV Resort is open all year with approximately 200 RV only camp spots. It's located just a mile from London Bridge and Downtown Lake Havasu City. There's lots to do nearby. The resort has a small beach however there would not be much room for boats on the beach (Please see the beach picture in our photos tab). There is also a small marina in the resort should you want to leave your boat in a slip during your stay. There are also additional marinas and boat launches within a mile of the resort. In some cases with very large boats it may be best to berth the boat at another marina. Most RV camp spots do not have a lake view but all have Lake Havasu access. The campground has all the essentials including ice, restrooms, showers, and a laundry. The restrooms look recently remodeled. All camp spots have full hookups. A dump station is also available. Big rigs up to approximately 45 feet can be accommodated with some spots being larger. Some of the overflow camp spots are right on the beach with water access. Extended stay and monthly rates are also available. Cellular service from the campground is good. Reservations are recommended, call the numbers provided here for reservations. Camp spots do not have fire rings. Mail boxes are available for the extended stay.
Local Recreation:
The resort has a clubhouse with a pool and jacuzzi.
London Bridge is just a mile from the campground and it's a great spot for photography. There are also restaurants and shops located at the bridge.
London Bridge Beach is popular during the summer months. Boats usually congregate on the beach and there is always something to do.
Bike trail. The city of Havasu has extensive bike trails. One of the trails passes the front of the campground and circles the island. Other trails run parallel to Highway-95. The trails are well maintained. They look wonderful. Please see the photos tab for a picture of the trail.
Boating and fishing is popular from the campground. Lake Havasu is a boaters paradise with boating beaches available all along the lake. The lake is approximately 25 miles long with approximately 100 miles of shoreline.
Horseshoe tournaments appear to be very popular in the campground. Please see the photos tab for a picture of horseshoe pits.
