Directions:

On Highway-1 in Carmel, look for Carmel Valley Road (a signal) and make the turn (you can only go one way). Travel eastbound for 4.5 miles to Schulte Road and make right. Continue on Schulte Rd for about 1 mile. At the end, you will be at a fork in the road. You will see Saddle Mountain Ranch’s sign on the left between our entrance and exit. Come up the left entrance fork to the top of the hill.  Registration is right there by the pool.

Saddle Mountain Ranch is nestled in monteray pines and redwoods in a hilly section of Carmel.  The ranch has tenting, cabins, and RV camp spots.  There is a large pool and relaxation area.  Most camp spots are shaded.  RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated however, access roads and camp roads are constrained for large vehicles in some spots.  Campbase recommends no loarge than 30foot RV's.  The park has restrooms with showers and tent only areas.  Full hookups are available for RV's.  The park has cell service, WiFi, and cable TV.

The park is in a good location for visiting the sights in the local area including Pebble Beach and Monteray Bay.  Pebble Beach has the 17 Mile Drive.  It costs $10 to enter the private community of Pebble Beach and drive the 17 Mile Drive.  The highway runs along the beach and golf course with fantastic views.  Its well worth the entrance price.

Monteray Bay has Cannery Row and other beach attractions.
