Description

California, Rincon Parkway Campground, Ventura County Parks, is located along the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway(PCH) between Ventura and Santa Barbara.  Because the camp spots are along the southbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway it's best to approach the park from the north and drive south on PCH.  If you are northbound on Pacific Coast Highway then you will need to make a U turn to get a site.  Note that only fully contained RV's are allowed.  Restrooms and drinking water are not available.

Directions:

North of Ventura and south of Santa Barbara on Highway-101 take the Pacific Coast Highway exit.  It's the off ramp that is just south of Mussel Shoals.  Go southbound on PCH, you will see the RV parking n the right side after approximately 1 mile.

Rincon Parkway Campground is roadside parking on the beach side of Pacific Coast Highway.  The park has 127 RV only camp spots available.  There are no restrooms or drinking water therefore, only fully self cantained units are allowed to park here.  Most spots are just steps from the water.  There are no services in their area so bring everything you will need.  The camp spots are along the highway somthere may be some road noise at night.  Reservations are available on the ventura.org website.  Train tracks run along the North side of the RV parking area and generate some noise at night.  See our Photos tab for a passing train picture.
