Refugio SB is located 20 miles West of Santa Barbara on Highway 101 at Refugio Road.  The campground is on the ocean side of the highway.

Refugio State Campground.  The campground is open year around.  There are a total of 67 tenting and RV sites.  There is a Maximum RV length of 27 feet for RV's and 30 feet for trailers.  This is a popular campground so reserve early.

Refugio State Beach is a beautiful spot to camp right on the beach.  It's located in a wilderness area 20 miles north of Santa Barbara along the scenic California coastline on highway 1.  Other than the camp store the closest amenities will be in Santa Barbara or Solvang.  Both locations offer interesting sites to see.  The campground has a camp store with drinks, ice, and firewood.  Site parking pads are all crushed rock while all camp roads are paved.

The park also has Bouchard group campground.  The group campground can accommodate up to 80 people with a restroom, fire rings, and picnic tables.  Please see our picture tab for a few group campground pictures.  

Bring what you need with you.  It's a long drive to the nearest amenities.
