Red Rock Canyon Group Campground is seasional being closed in the summer months due to extreme heat. The campground opens in September and closes in May. Approximately 7 group tent spots are available. Vault toilets, awnings, picnic tables, and drinking water are available. A dump station and showers are not available. All spots do have shade structures large enough for six picnic tables. The campground access road is paved however, campground roads are all crushed rock and can be dusty. Campbase recommends selecting a spot towards the back of the campground due to road dust. Parking areas are large enough to accommodate 6 or more cars. The campground has restrooms but, no showers. Private showers are available approximately 5 miles from the campground. The campground is located approximately 5 miles from town and most services.
Group camp spots are reservable through www.recreation.gov. The other campground is located across the highway from this group campground.
The park is managed by the Bureau of Land Management(BLM).
