Maine, Red Apple Campground

 

Directions:

 

From the South:  Exit the Maine Turnpike at Exit 25 (formerly Exit 3)  Kennebunk/Kennebunkport.  Turn left at the stop sign onto Fletcher Street (Rte 35). Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Ross Road. Go 1.6 miles to the end and turn left onto U.S. Route 1 North. Go 3/10's of a mile and bear right onto Old Post Road at the Welcome to Arundel sign. The campground is located 2.2 miles on the left. (Old Post Road turns into Sinnott Rd without taking any turns)

Red Apple Campground is open May through Columbus Day with cabins, RV rental units, tent sites, and RV sites.  The campground has approximately 100 camp spots.

 

Depending on the time of year, many areas in Maine may have ticks, bees, and mosquitos.  Due to the potential problems posed by these insects it's best to arrive prepared should these insects become a nuisance.  Campbase recommends screen enclosures, repellants, bug zappers, and mesh net hats.  Please click these links to see our recommended items.
