Camping is $50 per week at the sand dunes.  Get a camp pass from the ranger station on Gecko road or purchase the pass at one of the two concession areas in the park.  Ranger stations have passes.

There is no charge for camping however, every rider must have a permit.  A permit is required for off roading from October 1 through April 15.  $50 if purchased on site and $35 if purchased early on-line.  Purchase ar www.blm.gov/ca/isdra
