Washington, Rain Forest Resort Village

Directions:

From the town f Amanda Park on the southern shore of Lake Quinault, take Highway-101 south.  Cross over the Quinault River and travel approximately one mile south to South Shore Drive.  Go left onto S Shore Drive.  Travel approximately three miles north on S Shore Drive.  The camp store will be on the right side just after the gas station.  Registration is at the camp store.

Rain Forest Resort Village.  The campground is open all year with 31 camp spots available.  Sites are first-come, first-served, reservations are not available.  All camp spots are back-in.  Camp cabins and parkside studios are also available.  All Camping is on grassy level spots.  The campground has direct access to Lake Quinault.  There is also a small Camp store and laundry room available.  The camp store has all the essentials including ice.  Quite a picturesque location actually with beautiful views in every direction.  The campgrounds beach is Hobie Cat accessible for launching and landing.  There are loads of things to do from this location including seeing the largest spruce tree in the world.  It’s located right in the campground.  Campbase likes this campground and will definitely return.
