The campground is located 3.5 miles north of the town of Gorda on Highway 1. East side of the road.

Plaskett Creek Campground is open all year with 44 RV, Tent, and group camp sites. This is part of the Los Padres National Forest. Campbase estimates that RV's up to 35 feet can be accommodated in some camp spots. Hike/Bike in sites are available for those riding the highway. Water at the campground is non-potable. Each camp spot has a picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ. Most camp spots are grass covered. Campground usage is heavy during the summer months so reserve a spot early. Click here for the reservations page. The campground is located along a picturesque section of the California coast. Beach access is located across the highway at Sand Dollar Beach.
