THIS RV CAMPGROUND WAS CLOSED IN 2020.  THE PARK IS PERMANENTLY CLOSSED.  

California, Pillar Point Harbor Campground is located in Half Moon Bay Harbor.  The address used here is fictitious but, the Campbase map pin is accurate.  The campground is at the corner of Pillar Point Harbor BLVD and Johnson Pier.  When you see the Oceano Hotel Spa sign, you are there.  The only indication that it's a campground is the blue "Campground Rules" sign in the parking lot. 

Directions:

Southbound on highway 1 from the San Francisco area, the campground is on the right side just after the Half Moon Bay Airport.  It's also approximately four miles north of Downtown Half Moon Bay.  When you see the marina, on the right, you are there.

Pillar Point Harbor Campground should not be confused with Pillar Point RV Park.  This campground is located at the Marina in the parking lot.  It's at the entrance to Johnson Pier.  There are approximately 50 parking lot spots at this campground.  The campground is in a really great spot.  The pier, restaurants, shops, and Marina are right in front of the campground.  Everything is within an easy walking distance.  No shade spots.  40 ft. Max legnth. 

Downtown Half Moon Bay is approximately 4 miles from the campground and is a great place to spend the day.
