Maine, Parks Pond Campground

Located 16 miles from Bangor, Maine on route 9.

From Clifton, Maine take Route-9 and go East.  After approximately one mile, look for the campground and lake on the right side of the highway.

Parks Pond Campground is seasional opening in May and closing in October.  The campground is located on Parks Pond with direct access to the pond.  The campground also has a boat launch and small dock.  Kayaking is popular on the lake. Camp roads and parking pads are crushed rock and most spots have a shade tree.  Electric and water hookups are available with a dump station located in the park.  The park has fair cell service, WiFi, and 14 Air TV channels. Well mannered pets were allowed.  The park has a small camp store, laundry, and restrooms with showers.  Jet skies were not allowed in the campground.  This is a small lake best suited to kayaking and small fishing boats.  Most camp spots had plenty of space around them.  Campbase estimates that RV's up to 45 feet can be accommodated in some spots.  The park is a bit remost with Bangor and Ellsworth being located approximately 20 miles in each direction.  There is a swim beach and a playground for the kids.
