California, Paradise Campground

Directions:

From Santa Barbara,Off Hwy 101, 10 miles N.W. on Hwy 154, 3 miles E. on Paradise Road.  The parks entrance will be on the right side of the highway.

Paradise Campground is located in a grove of large oak trees with 15 RV or tent camp spots available.  A few sites are double sites while some can accommodate RV's up to 35 feet(estimated).  The campground has restrooms and drinking water available.  Campground roads are mostly paved.  Most camp spots are shaded.  There is a plague warning in the area due to rodents that carry flees.  It might be best to leave the pets home for this one.  Its a quiet peaceful location to relax.  Celluar service is generally available in the area.  Surface streets are acessable by large RV's  

Recreation in the Area:

Horsebacking and hiking are popular nearby at Rancho Oso where you will find boarding and corrals. 

Nearby is Lake Cachuma.  This is a large lake with fishing and boating available.  Body contact with lake water is not allowed.

Downtown Santa Barbara is just 15 miles from the park.  Its a great spot to spend the day with restaurants, beaches and piers.

Chumash Casino and resort is located approximately 10 miles to the West.
