Directions:

Paintsville Lake is on US 23 at the Staffordsville/Paintsville exit in Johnson County,KY. on Rt.40 West. From the Mountain Parkway, take the 460 exit out of Salyersville into Paintsville and turn on Rt.40 West at the intersection and follow the brown signs and turn right on KY.RT. 2275, continue down the hill until you see the sign, "Road Ends in Water" and you are here, enjoy.

Paintsville Lake State Park campground is open all year with 42 tent and RV camp spots. A few pull through spots up to 48 feet are available. Most camp spots are around 35 feet. Campground roads and parking pads are all paved. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The marina is within walking distance from the campground.
