Comment
Orange County Fairgrounds Campground is open all year with approximately 58 RV only camp spots, no tenting. A dump station is available in the campground. Most camp spots do not have trees. A restroom and showers are available for campers. There is also a small outdoor pavilion with picnic tables. Camp spots do not have fire rings or picnic tables. Cellular service was good from this location. There is no campground WiFi. This campground could be quite a bit of fun during a concert at the Pacific Amphitheater or during a county fair. It's just a few hundred feet from the Pacific Amphitheater so, if you are looking for peace and quiet, this would not be the place. At different times there are farm shows, gun shows and fairs so, depending on when you stay it could be quite fun.
Length of stay: Campers may stay up to a maximum 14 consecutive days per visit. There must be a break of 7 days between visits with a maximum of 60 days per year.
Air conditioners are not allowed on the 20 amp service.
The fairgrounds have 24 hour security.
Local Recreation:
If you are camping here, your best option is to visit the fair or the Pacific Amphitheater.
Disneyland is just seven miles from this locations on local freeways.
Approximately three miles south on the 405 freeway is a place called Boomers. They have a large arcade, carnival rides, and a bowling alley. It's a fun place.
Bicycleist like to ride on the Back Bay loop. It's a paved bike trail that loops around the Newport Beach Back Bay. It's about a 10 mile loop.
