Directions:

Northbound on Highway 101 take the Grand Avenue exit in Arroyo Grande.  Turn left onto Grand Avenue and follow approximately 3 miles to Hwy 1. Turn left onto Highway 1 (Amtrack Station will be on your left). Follow Hwy 1 for 1 mile to Pier Avenue. Turn right onto Pier Avenue. Turn left onto Air Park Avenue.  The campground will be one block down on the right.  Just past the small bridge.

Oceano Campground, County of San Luis Obispo is open all year with 22 RV or tent camp spots.  RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated however, there are only a few large spots.  All camp spots have full hookups.  Restrooms with pay showers are available.  All camp roads and pads are paved and most spots have shade.  The campground is just a short walk from the beach however, there is no direct beach access.  It's a kind of a hidden campground but a great find.

Local Rcreation:
 
Off-roading and ATV rental.  There are numerous ATV rental companies in the area near the campground.  ATV riding is popular in the Pismo Dunes. 
 
The Monarch Butterfly Grove is just one mile north on Highway 1.  The best time to see the butterfly's is October through December.  It's free to walk through the grove and parking is also free.
 
Pismo Beach Golf Course is located approximately one mile north on Highway 1 near the state park beach entrance.
 
Old downtown Pismo Beach has a pier and restaurant row.  It's a good place to visit.
