The North Rim Campground is located on the North Rim of
Grand Canyon National Park in northern Arizona. It's the only National Park campground available on the North Rim. The canyons rustic and less populated North Rim is home to abundant wildlife, hiking trails, North Woods forests and unparalleled views. The Campground is seasonal and open from May to October. Closed during the winter months. The campground has 89 tent and RV camp spots available. Most spots are "pull round" spots providing easy access for trailers or RV's. Camp spots are
reservable through Reserve America by clicking the red "Book Now" button on this page. The North Rim Campground fills every day during the summer months. If you do not have a reservation, it's unlikely there will be an available camp space. The next closest campground is
De Motte Campground, eight miles outside the national park. The campground elevation is 8200'.
The campground is about a mile from the Grand Canyon Lodge where you will find restaurants and the information center. The market is located at the campgrounds entrance. Firewood and Ice are available at the market. A coin operated laundry and showers, operated by Forever Resorts, are located at the entrance to the campground. The campground is the most convenient spot for activities on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Other campgrounds in the area are just not as convenient.
