Colorado, Mosca Campground, Gunnison National Forest is located on the banks of Spring Creek Reservoir.
Direction:
From Gunnison go north on CO 135 to Almont. Turn right on County Road 742, travel 6 miles to Forest Road 744 . Turn left on FDR 744 (Spring Creek Road) and drive 12 miles. Roads to the campground are not paved.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There are two Mosca Campgrounds in the general area. This one is NOT near the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Mosca Campground, Gunnison National Forest, closes on October 1 and reopens in May. The campground is located on the banks of Spring Creek Reservoir. A boat ramp and fishing site are located within the campground. Mountain bikers, hikers and four-wheel drive enthusiasts will enjoy this location and the variety of trail.
