Take Highway 160 west from Walsenburg for 60 miles just past the town of Blanca. Go north on Highway 150 for 13.5 miles. Turn left on Six Mile Lane (6LN) and drive straight for 8 miles and then drive north 1/8 mile to park entrance.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  There are two Mosca Campgrounds in the general area.  This one is located near the Great Sand Dunes National Park.  Please see the Campbase map tab for an accurate location.  

Mosca Campground San Luis Lake, San Luis Lakes State Park.  There are 51 RV and tent camp spots at this location on the banks of San Luis Lake.  The campground is seasonal closing October 1 and opening in April.  The campground is located approximately 15 miles from the Great Sand Dunes National Park.  All Camp spots have 50amp electric service.  The campground has good cell service for most carriers.  The is also a dump station available.  Most Camp spots have a lake view and all have lake access.  The closest fuel, market, and services available are in the town of Alamosa approximately 20 miles southwest.  The spot is a bit remote so bring everything you need with you.
