Description

California, Los Prietos Campground  Located in the Los Padres National Forest.  

Directions:

The campground is located on Paradise Road.  From Santa Barbara) Off Hwy 101, 10 miles N.W. on Hwy 154, 3.7 miles east on Paradise Road.  The campground is located on the right side of the highway.

Los Prietos Campground is open all year with 38 RV or tent camp spots.  Most spots are reservable and reservations are recommended.  Most spots have large oak trees for shade.  Campground roads and pads are all paved.  The campground does have an abundance of flees so its best to leave the pets home for this one.  Cell service may be limited.

Recreation in the Area:

Horsebacking and hiking are popular nearby at Rancho Oso where you will find boarding and corrals. 

Nearby is Lake Cachuma.  This is a large lake with fishing and boating available.  Body contact with lake water is not allowed.

Downtown Santa Barbara is just 15 miles from the park.  Its a great spot to spend the day with restaurants, beaches and piers.

Chumash Casino and resort is located approximately 10 miles to the West.
