Description

California, Lewis Campground is locatd in the Tahoe National Forest at 5,300 feet.  The campground does not have an address.  It is on the north east end of the French Meadow Reservoir.  The Campbase map pin is accurate for the location of the campground.

Lewis Campground is seasonal being open from May 22 through September.  Lewis Campground is located on the north shore of French Meadows Reservoir at 5,300 feet. This campground has 40 tent camp sites with tables, toilets, grills, bear boxes, and drinking water.  A boat launch is available at French Meadow Reservoir.  Activities include fishing, swimming, boating, picnicking, hiking and viewing scenery.  The campground does not have reservoir access.  A boat launch and dump station are available near the reservoir.
