California, Leo Carrillo State Park

NOTE: The park is temproarily closed due to flooding.  It is scheduled to January 30, 2022.  CALL AHEAD AND VERIFY THE PARK HAS RE-OPENED BEFORE YOU DEPART TO THIS LOCATION.  

Directions:

The park is located on Pacific Coast Highway, 28 miles north of Santa Monica.  The entrance to the campground is on the right side of the highway.  The campground is located across the highway from the beach.

Leo Carrillo State Park is open all year with approximately 140 RV and tent camp spots.  Most camp spots can accommodate cars only however, some camp spots are up to 31 feet long.  The campground is well acquainted with a camp store, ice, firewood, dump station, and information center.  The park is located across Highway 1 from the beach however, there is a pedestrian underpass available.  Campground roads and parking pads are all paved.  Most camp spots have shade trees.  Electric camp spots are available.  Most camp spots are level and paved.
