Description

California, Lake Tahoe South Shore KOA is located approcimately 6 miles south of Lake Tahoe on Highway 50. 

Directions:

From South Lake Tahoe on highway-50, proceed southbound.  Pass through the small town of Meyers.  The campground will be on the left side approximately a mile after Meyers.

Comment

Lake Tahoe South Shore KOA is open all year with Cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots.  The KOA is located near Echo Creek however, no camp spots are on the river.  Most camp spots have tall pine shade trees.  There is a pool available that is open during the summer months.  A small camp store is available at the KOA that has all the essentials including firewood and ice.  Big rigs up to 36 feet can be accommodated.  The campground is a good spot for touring the southern part of Lake Tahoe.
