Description

California, Lake Hemet Campground

Directions:

From the small town of Mountain Center, take Highway-74(Pines to the Palms Highway) and go southeast for approximately two miles.  You will pass Hurkey Creek Campground on the left side of the highway.  After passing Hurkey Creek, look to the right side for the lake and campground sign.  Enter the park at the campground sign and small market.

Lake Hemet Campground is located in a remote area near the small town of Mountain Center.  There is fuel and a small market in Mountain Center.  The park has a small market with most of the essentials.  This is a small fishing lake, large boats are not recommended.  Boat rentals are available at the park.  Most camp spots have a lake view.  During the summer there are water park floats for the kids to play on.
