Description

Arizona, Lake Havasu City BLM.  May also be called Camp Sweetness.  Highway-95 passing this camping location does not have an address.

Directions:

Proceed south out of Lake Havasu City on State Highway 95.  On the outskirts of the city, at the intersection of Highway-95 and Sara Parkway the camping are will be on the left side of the highway at the Lake Havasu City sign.

Lake Havasu City BLM.  Often called Camp Sweetness during Pyro Week.  It's located on the outskirts of Lake Havasu City is an open camping area.  There are no services, it's wilderness camping.  Responsibility for camping in this area appears to be shared by the Arizona State Park system and Bureau of Land Management(BLM).  It's located across from Sara Park, a Lake Havasu City park.  The campground is popular during Lake Havasu City's "Western Winter Blast Pyrotechnics" or Pyro Week.  It's a rugged, hilly area with dirt roads.  However, as you can see from the pictures (see the pictures tab) large RV's can use this area.  Enter the area at the Lake Havasu City sign.
