Directions:

The campground is located 1.5 miles northeast of Tahoe City, off Highway 28 on Lake Forest Road.

Comment

Lake Forest Campground has 20 tent spots only, no large RV camp spots are available.  Small tent trailers can be accommodated.  The campground is seasonal being open from April through October.  Portable toilets are available but, no showers or laundry.  All camp spots are first-come, first-served.  The campground elevation is 6,200 feet.  Approximately half of the camp spots have shade.  Water, fire rings, barbeque, and a picnic table are available at every camp spot.  This is an "in-town" campground so, most services including fuel are available nearby.  There is a boat launch and small marina at the campground.  

Note:  RV's up to 25 feet can be accommodated.
