Description

Juniper Lake Group Campground, Mount Lassen Volcanic National Park (elevation 6,800 feet) is a remote, rustic facility in the southeastern part of Lassen Volcanic National Park.  Located on the eastern shore of Juniper Lake.  

Direction:

From the Red Bluff (I.5), drive east on state HWY 36 approximately 70 miles to Chester. Turn left at fire station immediately after crossing Feather River Bridge (watch for National Park Service sign on right) continue approximately 13 miles follow signs to Juniper Lake Campground and Group Campsite Area. Campground access is via paved and dirt road, last 6 miles is narrow, rough and dusty dirt road.

Juniper Lake Group Campground.  There are just two group spots at this location.  The campground is seasonal being open from June 27 - October 14, weather permitting.  There are 2 group tent camp spots available.  The campground is remote in the southeastern part of Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. It's located within walking distance of Juniper Lake.  The campground does not have drinking water.  The road to the campground is dirt.  RV spots are not available.  Group sites are by reservation only.  Motorized boating is not allowed on Junioer Lake.
