Description

Iowa, Iowa 80 Truck Stop.  The overnight spot has easy Interstate-80 access for big rigs.  Diesal and gas is available at this exit.  

Directions:

Located just off Interstate-80.  Take exit 284 also called North Plainview Road.  The truck stop is on the Northeast side Interstate-80.

Iowa-80 Truck Stop is a TA(Travelcenter of America) fuel stop. This is the worlds largest truck stop with 900 truck spaces available. One section of the parking lot is reserved for overnighting.  There is truck and freeway noise at this location.  No hookups, its basic RV parking, no tenting.  The truck stop has a restroom with showers available.  Showers cost $16 during my visit in 2023.  There is an Iowa-80 Kitchen that has really good food.  20 pull through spots are available and approximately 20 small back-in spots.  Campbase enjoyed the stop at this location.
