Graham Hill Campground, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park has 113 RV and tent camp sites.  The state park is open all year however, the campground is seasional being open from April through October.   Trailers up to 31 feet and motorhomes up to 35 feet can be accommodated.  The campground is located in a natural oak forest near the San Lorenzo River.  There is also a natural redwood tree forest located near the parks main entrance.  Fuel, restaurants, markets and services are located in Felton, just two miles from the campground entrance.  There are no services available at the campground or outside the campground entrance.  Firewood is available for sale at the campground.  There is also a pay phone at the campgrounds entrance.

Use caution for ticks and poison oak in the park.  Ticks can carry the Lime Disease making them very dangerous.  Make sure you wear insect repellent and long pants when visiting the campground.

Reservations are available through the states web site provided here.  The campground fills up most days during the summer so it's best to make a reservation.  The remaining sites are sold on a first come, first served basis.  Please see the Campbase Photos tab for a campground note about available sites.

Local Recreation:

Pets are not allowed on the trails.  The park has 30 miles of hiking and biking trails.  There is a redwood forest loop trail located near the visitors center at the main entrance.

The Roaring Camp Narrow Gauge Railroad is located just a few miles from the campground.  Train tours and much more are available.  There is a small western town with shops and restaurants.  There is also a meeting hall/play house there.

The campground is in a great spot for launching hiking and biking activities into the adjacent Henry Cowell Redwood State Park.

The San Lorenzo River passes the campground and is a great spot for cooling off or fishing.

The Seacliff State Beach is approximately 15 miles from the resort. At Seacliff State Beach there is a pier with a sunken ship.  The SS Pablo Alto was purposefully sunk at this location in the 1930's and used for a short time as a tourist attraction.  In the 1930's tourists could board the ship however, that is no longer possible because it is unsafe.  Visitors now need to view the ship from the beach or pier.  See the Campbase Photos tab for pictures.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Pier are just 10 miles south on Highway 9.  There are all kinds of things to eat, see, and do on the Boardwalk.  There are numerous carnival rides including a roller coaster.  The pier is also right there.  Please see the Campbase Photos tab for pictures of the Boardwalk.
