New Hampshire, Gunstock Mountain Resort

Directions:

From the town of Gilford, take Highway 11A and travel Northeast bound.  After just over a mile you will see the Gunstock sign on the right side.  Take Panorama Drive into the resort and campground.

Gunstock Mountain Resort is an "All Season" resort being open all year with different activities.  Durring the summer months there is camping and an adventure park.  Cabins, Tent, and RV camp sites are available.  The park has extensive activities for guests including zip lines, hiking, biking, lift rides, and a mountain downhill coaster. Its a very activity oriented park.  Campbase is sure you wont be bored here.  The resort has a large RV park with full hookups, restrooms, showers and a camp store.  Ice and firewood are available.  There is also a restaurant and sporting goods shop.  Campground roads and parking pads are mostly crushed rock.  Many spots are shaded.  The resort has a small pond with stocked fish.  

Local Recreation:

Nearby is Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in New Hampshire.  Along the shores are beaches and marinas.  At Weirs Beach located nearby, you will find restaurants, arcades, shops, Lakeside train rides and the MS Mount Washington Cruise ship.  On the far side of the lake is Downtown Wolfeboro and the Cotton Valley Rail Trail.  The Gunstock Resort could be the perfect location for a visit to this area.
