California, Gualala Point Campground is located on the Gualala River at Highway 1.   This is a regional park campground nestled along the river in an old growth Redwood forest.

 

Directions:

 

From Downtown Gualala go south on Highway-1.  After approximately one mile you will cross over the Gualala River.  The campground entrance road will be on the left side just after you cross over the river.

Gualala Point Park link.  There are approximately 23 RV or tent camp spots at this location.  The park recommends RV's no larger than 30 feet.  The campground has a restroom and drinking water.  There is also an RV dump station on the entrance to the campground.  Most Camp spots have huge Redwood trees.  Please see the photos tab.  Camp roads and parking pads are all paved.  The campground is on the Gualala River however we did not see a launch area at the campground.  Walk-to and hiker/biker camp spots are available. 

 

Reservations: (707)565-2267.  Must be made 10 days in advance.  First come, first served are also available.  There are tent and RV sites at this location.  There are no RV hookups.
