Description

Colorado, Glenwood Canyon Resort.  Easy access from Interstate-70.

Directions:

From downtown Glenwood Springs, take Interstate-70 east for approximately 2 miles.  Take the No Name Ln exit.  Go South on No Name Ln and take it straight into the campground in approximately one block.

Glenwood Canyon Resort is open all year with cabins, tenting, and RV camp spots.  The campground is located along the Colorado River with water access.  Pull through camp spots are not available.  Groups can be accommodated in group sites.  Many camp spots have full RV hookups.  There is a restaurant and bar located in the park.  The park has zip lines and rafting consessionairs.  Some RV and tent camp spots are locatedalong the river.  Campbase estimates that RV's up to 40 feet can be accommodated.  Its a nice park with plenty of activities for the family.  Cell service is good for most carriers in this area.

Local Recreation:

The park has a zip line that crosses over the Colorado River.

There is a river rafting company in the campground.  Defiance River Rafting Company is perfect for those rafting excursions down this section of the Colorado River.
